AVKASH DESIGNS is an award winning creative consultancy firm dealing in Architectural, Structural & Interior design consulting across Gujarat. Avkash Designs was established in 2006, Surat. It provides services in all formats as needed. It started as a small firm with a team of two and has grown into a closed knit group of over 16 team members under the guidance and leadership of Mr. Smit Thakkar (Founder). Over the years it has raised as a cluster of qualified Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Planners and Graphic Designers. The company has successfully completed a large number of projects across a wide spectrum of typologies and regions. We are currently handling projects with a collective covered area of over 7,00,000 sq.ft. We operates from our new office of around 4000 sq.ft area with all modern equipments and softwares with a team of highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled people.
Mr.Smit Thakkar is the Founder of Avkash Designs. He holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from SVNIT- Surat, 2003. In a professional career of almost 17 years, Smit has handled many prestigious structural and architectural projects for a list of elite clients. Ranging from large commercial projects such as Mega Malls, Multiplexes, corporate buildings, multi-unit commercials, and multi-unit residential projects, Avkash Designs has successfully completed many projects under his leadership. We at Avkash Designs are always working on how we can Aesthetically transform our clients' ‘ideas of life’ into architectural reality with a sustainable solution. .

Professional Qualifications and Membership
He is a SVNIT Surat Alumni from 2003 Batch with Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. Earlier he has completed his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Pune University in 2000.
He is the Hon. Chairman of 'ICEA SUDA-SMC Committee' since 2019.
He won the Gold Madal from IAEWP (USA) for 'The Outstanding Performance in Structural Design Competition' in 2008.
Work Experience
Prior to the foundation of AVKASH DESIGNS, Smit worked for JAD - a multi-discipline and one of the top project consultancy firms in Surat, where he oversaw some of Gujarat's largest and pregious projects and played the key roles to his assigned projects. He founded ‘AVKASH DESIGNS’ in 2003 and has since worked on a varied list of multifarious projects. Smit has more than 17 years of experience in Structure, Architecture, Planning and Construction and his understanding of the construction industry is vital to the growth and development of Avkash Designs.
Ms. Ruzal Panwala is our associate partner at Avkash Designs. She handles our arcitectural division. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Gijubhai Chaganbhai Patel Institute Of Architecture, Interior Design & Fine Arts ( GCPIAIF), VNSGU, Surat. In her able guidance our team has successfully completed many prestigiuos projects with sheer client satisfaction. Avkash Designs has completed many prjects Ranging from large commercial projects, Multiplexes, corporate buildings, multi-unit commercials, and multi-unit residential projects. She is a young, energetic and enthusiastic team leader who is always eager to encourage her team to achieve the best results through hard work and dedication. .

She is a B.Arch Degree holder from from Gijubhai Chaganbhai Patel Institute Of Architecture, Interior Design & Fine Arts ( GCPIAIF), VNSG University, Surat. She Has also achived skills in coordination of seminars in NASA festival and also participate in it.
